In every project, I always make sure I understand what the client needs, and identify what is working well and what is not working at all.
Once I have enough information, I do additional research before starting any creative work, basically sketches, wireframes, or whatever else gets the job done.
During this phase, I collaborate directly with clients. Their feedback is extremely important and adjustments follow. After all, it's their project.
I present more than just one idea or solution, multiple options, to help ease the decision making. Once the client decides and approves, I move forward with the final design.
Time to turn the design into clean, functional, semantic code. Depending on the complexity of the project — development consists of lightweight HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript in most cases.
Other times it requires additional tools like content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal. Regardless, important to never lose focus on the goal.
Recognized four times: twice for disaster recovery work, once for AEP compliance, and a Leadership award for completing a CMS compliance project.
Designed and built an internal tool that increased Enterprise Service Team response rate by 132%, earning the 2018 VPS & VES Technology Kickoff Recognition.
